The process
Our signature lighting design process
Site-inspection
We evaluate the substrate, climate exposure, and functional needs—such as insulation level, moisture regulation, or crack resistance—so the Insulcote system is specified correctly from the start.
Surface preparation
The surface is cleaned and keyed for bonding. Proper preparation ensures the base coat locks into the substrate and performs consistently over time.
Fiber & mix selection + sampling
We choose the plant-fiber blend based on the performance target, then prepare sample panels to confirm texture direction and system thickness.
Insulcote base coat application
Insulcote is applied directly on brick or rough plaster at the required thickness, forming a breathable insulating layer and a strong foundation for finishing coats.
Curing, finishing readiness & aftercare
After curing, the surface is ready for Purecote/Finoplast finishing, or can be left exposed for a natural fiber-textured look. We guide final timing and long-term care.

Meet the People Behind Altarize
We’re a small, dedicated team of material specialists, applicators, and project partners who believe great spaces start with great surfaces. From early consultation to on-site application, we work closely with designers, homeowners, and contractors to make sure every finish performs beautifully in tropical conditions. We care about the details—how a wall breathes, how a surface ages, and how a texture feels in real life. That’s why we stay hands-on through every project, guiding choices, preparing samples, and ensuring each layer is applied with precision.
