BREATHABLE. TEXTURED. ALIVE.
Walls that breathe with the room
Our wall systems — Limewash, Purecote, and Finoplast — are breathable mineral finishes built for tropical humidity. Each lets moisture pass through naturally instead of trapping it, keeping walls dry while giving every surface its own texture, depth, and character.
Breathable walls require a clear system for texture, tone, and the tropical world
From the soft matte chalkiness of Limewash to the tactile depth of Purecote and the hand-troweled shadow texture of Finoplast, every Altarize wall finish is built on the same breathable, lime-based foundation — so the choice comes down to look and feel, not performance.
SHAPING WALLS WITH PURPOSE
Inspire tropical living through material vision
A wall does more than divide space — in the tropics, it has to manage moisture, heat, and time. Our wall systems are engineered to do all three while staying beautiful.
WHY THIS WALL SYSTEM
Built for what walls actually face in the tropics
Conventional paint traps moisture behind it, leading to peeling and mold in humid climates. Our breathable wall systems work with that moisture instead of against it — letting walls stay dry, stable, and textured for years.
Limewash (less than 1mm) delivers a soft, chalky finish made from pure limestone — perfect for interior and exterior walls and ceilings, customizable in multiple colors for a sleek, contemporary look.
Purecote (0.5–10mm) and Finoplast (0.5–10mm) build on that same breathability with more textural range — from smooth, polished finishes to sprayed or hand-troweled textures, suited to walls, ceilings, and even wet areas like bathrooms.
Common Questions
Frequently asked questions
Find answers to the most common questions about our flooring systems, materials, and performance in tropical conditions.
Which wall finish should I choose — Limewash, Purecote, or Finoplast?
Limewash suits a soft, chalky, matte look with minimal texture. Purecote offers a versatile range from smooth to textured, ideal for wet areas too. Finoplast is best for a fine, hand-troweled finish suited to stucco or venetian plaster styles. Our team can help you choose based on the space and look you want.
Are these wall finishes suitable for exterior use?
Yes. Limewash, Purecote, and Finoplast are all suitable for interior and exterior walls, with Limewash and Purecote also suitable for ceilings.
Can wall finishes be used in wet areas like bathrooms?
Yes — Purecote and Finoplast are both suitable for wet areas like bathrooms and showers, typically applied with a sealant for added protection.
How are these finishes customized in color and texture?
All three use natural pigments and can be tinted to a wide range of tones. Purecote also allows customization through different aggregate sizes for varied textures, from smooth to sprayed finishes.
